Other Funding Available

  • Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
Eligible children can start claiming EYPP in the term in which they become eligible for the three or four year old entitlement and is paid based on the universal funded hours only – not on the extended entitlement. To be eligible you need to be claiming certain benefits/credits or are caring for or have adopted a child from care of the local authority. This additional funding will benefit your child by enabling us to provide additional resources and activities. You will need to complete parts 5 and 6 on the Parental Declaration form giving us permission to apply for EYPP for your child.
Please follow this link to more information on EYPP funding.
  • Disability Access Fund (DAF)
Your child could be eligible for this funding if they are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA). This one off annual payment will help us support your child with their disability or special education needs and allow us to make any reasonable adjustments or purchase/loan suitable resources that may be required.
Please follow this link for additional information about DAF funding for your child.

Snacks and Meals

Each morning and afternoon session, children are provided with a fresh fruit snack and a carton of milk. If you wish your child to have a packed lunch then we ask you to bring this in for each session. However, if you would like your child to have a cooked lunch please let a member of staff know and we will order this for them. The cost of this will then be added to your monthly invoice at a charge of £2.45 per meal. If you would like your child to attend the full day without paying for the lunchtime staffing please speak to a member of the nursery staff about collecting your child for lunchtime and then bringing them back to the nursery for the afternoon session.

Illness/Absence

You will be charged for all booked sessions,  regardless of absence due to illness, holiday or any other reason. This also includes the lunchtime period if your session is for all day.

Closures

Should the nursery be unable to open due to bad weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, parents will be refunded for a chargeable session or have  it discounted from their next invoice. Should closure need to take place part way through a session, a refund will not be given in this instance.

Late Pick Up

Children must be collected promptly at the end of a session/day. Should a parent/carer fail to collect their child on time there is a late collection fee of £1.00 that will be charged per minute that the parent/carer is late.

Late Invoice Payments

Fees are to be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. If you are experiencing financial hardship please speak, in confidence to Mrs Lerpiniere (Mrs L) so that alternative arrangements can be made. If, without negotiation, fees are not settled, we are left with no alternative but to withdraw your child’s place. Children in receipt of 15 hours free entitlement will only be able to access their free funded hours.
